Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to join a vibrant and supportive team?

This full-time role in a friendly, progressive, and forward-thinking small animal practice in Staffordshire, could be your perfect match.

Imagine working in a close-knit team of six RVN's and one SVN, alongside four experienced vets, where your skills and experience will be fully utilised. This practice is committed to providing exceptional patient and client care, and the ideal candidate will be highly motivated, caring, and a true team player. Your role will be varied, encompassing nursing consults, front-of-house duties, theatre work, and inpatient care, ensuring no two days are the same.

One of the standout features of this role is the work-life balance it offers. With a 40-hour workweek spread over four or five days, and only one in four Saturdays required (8:30 am to 5:30 pm), you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy life outside of work. There are no emergency out-of-hours shifts, allowing you to truly relax and recharge. The practice also encourages and funds Continuing Professional Development, supporting your growth and development within the field.

The salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications, starting from £28,000 for recent graduates and going up to £35,000 for seasoned professionals. Beyond the financial rewards, you’ll be joining a happy team with a great sense of humour. The practice values camaraderie, with regular games nights and opportunities to unwind together. Plus, the practice dogs, who are always up for a fuss or a walk, add a touch of joy to the work environment.

Located in a beautiful market town just 9 miles from Stafford, you’ll have easy access to beautiful countryside for walking, running, or mountain biking. If you prefer the buzz of the city, Birmingham and Manchester are less than an hour away, offering fantastic shopping and nightlife options. The practice itself is housed in a charming converted pub, complete with stained glass windows in the operating theatre – a unique and inspiring place to work.

If this sounds like the role you’ve been searching for, don’t hesitate. Apply now and take the next step in your veterinary nursing career in a place where your skills will be valued, and your work-life balance respected.
