Veterinary Surgeon - Join a large experienced team

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join a busy small animal hospital group, in East Sussex. 

In taking on this role you will be working as part of an experienced and varied team, where you will be inspired daily by the vast array of certificate holders and experienced clinicians working side by side.  This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to work in a busy hospital environment and in a branch to continue to develop their skills and knowledge, while also helping to mentor the younger vets as they start their veterinary journeys.

The role consists of two days a week at the Hospital and two days a week at their local branch with 1:4 weekends at the branch site.  There are no out of hours/night shifts and you will have a generous annual CPD allowance plus 5 CPD days ‘off’ to attend training and continue to develop your skills.

Applicants will ideally be professional, a good team player and have excellent communication and customer service skills.  You will have good time management and problem-solving skills, be resourceful and confident in your abilities and also understand and appreciate the benefit of liaising with other members of the clinical team and taking on advice and learning from your colleagues every day.  This role has some sole charge but is largely based on team work so being a strong and positive team player is vital.

This group itself boasts excellent facilities and state of the art equipment as you would expect from an RCVS accredited training practice, with ample onsite parking and easy access to main motorways and public transport.  During your free time you will find an array of local businesses to explore and enjoy as well as the stunning South Coastline which is just a stone’s throw away and waiting to be discovered!

Benefits:
Annual salary of £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience
6.6 weeks annual holiday pro rata
