Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse seeking a fulfilling night role that offers an exceptional work-life balance? Our client, a warm and welcoming family-run independent practice in beautiful Norfolk, is expanding its dedicated night team and is on the lookout for a motivated RVN to join their ranks.

Imagine working in a role where your focus is solely on delivering high-quality inpatient care and handling medical or surgical emergencies that arise overnight. The night nurses work from 6:30 pm to 8:30 am on a 7 nights on / 14 nights off rota, ensuring you have ample time to recharge and enjoy life outside of work. This unique schedule provides an excellent balance, allowing you to pursue personal interests and spend quality time with loved ones.

The night team is a crucial part of the practice, and every member is valued.  You will become part of a close-knit, friendly team that values your professional growth. The ideal candidate will be friendly, approachable, and confident working independently while contributing to a supportive team culture. The practice prides itself on its state-of-the-art facilities, including separate cat, dog, and exotic pet wards, a fully equipped diagnostic suite with Digital X-ray, Endoscopy, On-site CT, Ultrasound, ECG, and an in-house laboratory. The team comprises multiple vet and nurse certificate holders, enabling a wide range of medical and surgical procedures to be performed in-house. While the practice cares for both small animals and exotic species, prior experience with exotics is not essential, as comprehensive training and support will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have a compassionate approach to patient and client care, work well both independently and as part of a team, be proactive and confident using initiative during quieter periods, and enjoy contributing to a positive, supportive workplace.

The practice encourages and funds Continuing Professional Development (CPD), including certificates, ensuring you have opportunities to develop your skills in emergency and exotic nursing. With a competitive salary of £32,000-£34,000 and the chance to work in a modern, well-equipped practice, this role is perfect for an RVN looking to make a meaningful impact.

Take the next step in your career and become part of a team that truly cares. Apply today and experience a rewarding role with a fantastic work-life balance.
