Our client is seeking a confident and capable Veterinary Surgeon to join their esteemed team. This role is ideal for a vet with a strong interest in small animal medicine and general practice, who thrives on diagnostics, case continuity, and developing tailored treatment plans.

You will benefit from a varied and interesting caseload, with a strong emphasis on consultations, medical work-ups, routine procedures, and preventative healthcare. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the challenges of a GP setting and is keen to further develop their medical expertise, as part of a dedicated team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a, first-opinion hospital providing true 24-hour care, supported by a highly experienced team of 19 vets, including 7 Certificate Holders in various specialities such as cardiology, dermatology, medicine, ophthalmology, and surgery. The practices are equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities, including CT, a fully equipped dental suite, 12 operating theatres, digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and a comprehensive in-house laboratory. This ensures you have everything needed to deliver exceptional clinical care.

You will be joining a supportive and progressive work environment, with a dedicated night team covering all OOH work. 

You will have:
- Confidence across all first-opinion work
- Either hold a certificate in medicine or are working towards one
- RCVS registered with extensive first-opinion experience
- Enjoys being part of a team and values high standards of care in all areas
