Imagine being part of a team where kindness and compassion are at the heart of everything. A new practice in Northampton, with an established team and loyal client base, is seeking a qualified and experienced GP vet to join their close-knit small animal practice. This is a place where your well-being matters, and every voice is heard.

You will be working in a brand new state of the art facility, conveniently located with an experienced and dedicated team of 2 Vets, 4 Nurses, Practice Manager and 3 Support Staff.

As an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon, you will bring confidence in routine consults, surgery (consulting-only roles considered), and sole charge. Your kind and approachable communication style, coupled with a passion for animal welfare and excellent client care, will make you a perfect fit. Collaboration and mutual respect are highly valued, and you will find a workplace where your well-being is a priority.

In this role, you will provide professional, compassionate care to small animal patients, manage your own caseload with support when needed, and build meaningful relationships with clients who truly value your expertise. Working alongside a caring and skilled nursing and support team, you will share your experience and support others in a positive and respectful way.

The practice offers a competitive salary of £45,000 to £65,000 (dependent on experience), 25 to 40 hours per week. Additional benefits include fees and memberships paid, a pension scheme, development opportunities in your preferred area, a generous CPD allowance and much more. Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with flexibility around working hours and days, no out-of-hours or call-outs, and a 1 in 3 Saturday rota. The practice is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day, with bank holidays covered on a rotational basis with shorter working days.

If you're ready to join a team where kindness matters and your well-being is a priority, apply now and take the next step in your veterinary career.
