Ready to elevate your veterinary leadership career? Step into the role of Clinical Director at this established mixed practice and lead a dedicated team in an environment that champions both professional growth and personal well-being. Boasting state-of-the-art facilities and situated in a breathtaking location this opportunity offers a perfect blend of professional fulfilment and lifestyle balance.

The team is equipped with all the latest medical and surgical tools, including dental radiography. Regular visits from a peripatetic orthopaedic surgeon and an in-house Diagnostic Imaging certificate holder ensure comprehensive care for all cases. The practice actively encourages further education, offering a generous CPD budget and time off to pursue special interests. The friendly, sociable team of 7 vets, along with highly skilled nurses and support staff, regularly engage in social activities. Weekly clinical meetings foster a collaborative environment where cases and developments are discussed openly.

This full-time role offers a 4.5-day working week with flexible working options to suit your lifestyle. Daytime hours are from 08:30 to 17:30, including a one-hour lunch break, allowing you to enjoy your evenings. Participation in the Saturday morning rota is minimal (1:6, moving to 1:7), with additional time off in lieu. There are no emergency on-call duties, but in-patient care is retained in-house with a dedicated night nurse and an on-call vet.

As Clinical Director, you will lead a team of 7 vets, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and client experience. You will foster a positive, forward-thinking culture, act as the clinical voice in operational decisions, support performance management, and collaborate closely with the Practice Manager and Head Nurse.

Ideal candidates will be confident, passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, and excellent communicators. Prior leadership or mentorship experience is preferred. A team player who enjoys challenges and is committed to development and collaborative care will thrive in this role.

In addition to a competitive salary of up to £80,000 per annum, the role offers numerous perks including 6.6 weeks paid holiday, a £1750 CPD allowance, health cash plan, RCVS membership, VDS cover, enhanced parental leave, discounted veterinary fees, and much more.

Take the next step in your veterinary career and join a practice that values both professional excellence and personal well-being. Apply today.
