Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for providing exceptional care to pets and their owners? Our client in charming Chesterfield are seeking a dedicated professional to join their dynamic and supportive team. Imagine working in a modern, light, and spacious practice equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring, and in-house lab capabilities.

You will be part of a cohesive 16 strong team, including 4 Vets, 6 Nurses, 5 Client Care Advisors, and a Practice Manager, all committed to delivering high-quality clinical care while ensuring your wellbeing. Structured days feature 15-minute routine consultations, 30-minute consultations for PTS, and a schedule that ensures consultations finish 30 minutes before closing. The role is based on a 40-hour week with a manageable 1 in 4 weekends.

The ideal candidate will be a friendly, calm, and enthusiastic vet with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Strong people skills and a genuine passion for helping clients and their pets are essential. Confidence in both medicine and surgical procedures, along with a positive, team-focused attitude, will make you a perfect fit for our practice.

Memberships to RCVS, VDS, and BVA are paid, and you will benefit from a contributory pension scheme, private health insurance, and 5.6 weeks of holiday per year, increasing to 6.6 weeks after two years and much more.
