Veterinary Surgeon - Summer Fixed Term Contract

This team are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to cover one of their team's sabbaticals this summer!

They are seeking someone for a fixed term contact for three months ideally from June to September, either full or part time.

The practice, which opened its doors in 2023, is the brainchild of two visionary vets who sought to challenge the corporate norm, fostering a family atmosphere and maintaining case consistency.

The practice is seeking a conscientious and enthusiastic small animal Veterinary Surgeon to enhance their small yet dynamic team. Ideally suited for an individual with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and grow and a completed VetGDP. This role offers the chance to work alongside a team member who holds a surgical certificate, ready to provide support and mentorship in this area and with the absence of sole charge responsibilities which ensures a collaborative environment, it is perfect for those looking to further hone their skills.

The clinical team, comprising 5 veterinary surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 6 Student Veterinary Nurses, places a strong emphasis on the wellbeing and professional growth of each member. 

In recognition of the invaluable contributions of the staff, the practice offers a competitive base salary for this full time, permanent role and a benefits package designed to support work-life balance and professional development, including a 4-day working week, 1 in 4 weekends, and no out-of-hours commitments.
