Veterinary Nurse - friendly and supportive team

Our client are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to become an integral part of a friendly and supportive team dedicated to exceptional patient care. This role offers the chance to lead and inspire a talented nursing team, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the practice alongside the directors and practice manager.

As an RVN, you will have be joining a dedicated nursing team, ensuring outstanding patient care and clinical efficiency and contributing to a positive, collaborative, and supportive working environment, where team development and high clinical standards are paramount. 

To excel in this role, you must be an experienced qualified veterinary nurse registered with the RCVS. You should be confident in all aspects of clinical nursing, anaesthesia, and patient care.

The team includes four vets, three RVNs, one SVN, and three receptionists. The practice values staff wellbeing and focuses on realistic workload management, approachable leadership, and fostering a supportive environment. The team handles a varied caseload of medical and surgical cases, always striving to develop their standard of care through a collaborative approach.

The role offers a competitive salary of £30,000-£36,000 per year, a four-day working week with one in four Saturday mornings, five weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays, and flexible CPD funding. Additionally, RCVS and VDS fees are covered, staff pets receive discounts, and social events are organised throughout the year, with lunch provided for the team each Friday.
