As the Head Veterinary Nurse, you will lead a dedicated team of veterinary surgeons, RVNs, and support staff, playing a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day clinical operations and supporting staff development.

To excel in this role, you will need to be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with previous leadership or senior nursing experience. Strong clinical nursing skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and team management abilities are essential. Above all, a passion for delivering outstanding patient and client care is a must.

The practice is committed to your professional growth, offering a £750 CPD allowance, certificate funding and support, and mentoring and leadership development opportunities. You will have clinical freedom and encouragement to develop areas of interest, ensuring your career continues to progress.

The rota is designed to support a healthy work-life balance, with a 40-hour week and shifts between 8:30am – 5:00pm or 11:00am – 7:30pm. You will only work 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8:30am – 1:00pm) and there are no out-of-hours requirements.
