The ideal candidate will be an experienced vet with a broad range of GP skills. Confidence in small animal medicine and surgery, including lab result interpretation, internal medicine, and ultrasound, is essential. Our clients are looking for a passionate and proactive Veterinary Surgeon to join their team of 9 (4 vets and 5 support) today. They are looking for someone who is confident in all aspects of general practice from routine consultations and vaccinations to more complex surgery’s, ultrasound and lab result interpretations.
The role is full time permanent. Applicants will ideally have a passion for client and patient care, enjoying making connections and working with your team and clients to provide the best possible care to your patients. You will be friendly and supportive, be able to work sole charge or as part of a team and have excellent English skills, both verbal and written.
This state-of-the-art practice offers you access to in house laboratory, ultrasound and digital x-ray as well as orthopaedic equipment, operating theatre, isolation unit, separate cat and dog wards and more. Their aim is to be able to offer their clients every opportunity in house, while maintaining the highest standard of care from start to finish.
The practice itself is in stunning Oxfordshire, known for its rich history, gorgeous views and countryside as well as the beautiful and bustling city of Oxford. From here you will have easy access to Birmingham and London city centres for days out and be close to numerous major airports and train stations for travel nationally and out with the UK. This practice has free parking outside the practice and good bus links within walking distance of the front door.
