Are you a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to elevate your career while enjoying a host of fantastic benefits?

This role offers a dynamic and supportive environment where your professional growth is a priority. Imagine having 5 weeks of holiday plus bank holidays, a paid birthday holiday, and even paid lunch breaks. Add to that generous sick and parental leave policies, an employer contribution pension scheme, a CPD allowance with in-house training, and full coverage of RCVS and VDS fees. Plus, enjoy a generous staff discount scheme and a cycle-to-work scheme.

This exciting position starts with a competitive salary ranging from £29,700 to £31,179.20, depending on your experience and qualifications. The role is based in the North East and offers a unique chance to rotate across various departments, gaining hands-on experience in internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, diagnostics, and ophthalmology.

As a key member of the team, you will assist in planning and preparing for surgical cases, monitor anaesthesia and post-operative recovery, and deliver exceptional inpatient care. You will also maintain accurate patient records and ensure excellent communication. Additionally, you will participate in CPD, research, team meetings, and in-house development, while supporting new nurses during their induction and mentoring.

To excel in this role, you must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with strong communication and teamwork skills. Adaptability, a proactive and positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy referral setting are essential. While referral experience is desirable, it is not essential.
