Are you an experienced Farm Veterinary Surgeon ready to take the next step in your career?
Imagine joining a friendly, progressive team that genuinely values collaboration, career development, and strong client relationships. This is your chance to become an integral part of a supportive farm team in the picturesque heart of West Wales covering Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
In this role, you'll work with a large and well-established dairy client base, spending much of your time on routine fertility work, herd health planning, and preventative medicine. Your efforts will directly help farmers improve herd performance, making a tangible difference in their operations. Alongside dairy work, you'll enjoy a varied caseload that includes beef and sheep, offering plenty of clinical variety and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with your clients.
One of the standout features of this practice is the exceptional team around you. Whether you need to discuss a challenging case, develop a new herd health initiative, or simply seek another opinion while out on the farm, there’s always someone ready to assist. The farm team includes colleagues with specialist interests in epidemiology, bovine medicine, and nutrition, and professional development is actively encouraged. Whether you aim to pursue a certificate or become a trusted adviser to your clients, you’ll receive full support every step of the way.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Farm Vet confident in routine dairy work and enjoys building lasting relationships with farmers. A collaborative team player who is comfortable with sole charge when needed will thrive in this environment.
In return, the role offers a competitive salary of up to £70,000 DOE, fully funded CPD, and full support for certificates and further qualifications. You'll benefit from a large, established dairy client base, a varied farm caseload, and a friendly, experienced, and approachable team. With approximately 1 in 5 out-of-hours rota, you'll maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Located in the heart of West Wales, you’ll enjoy an exceptional lifestyle with rolling countryside, dramatic coastlines, welcoming rural communities, and easy access to stunning beaches and national parks.
If you’re ready to embrace a role where you can enjoy a busy dairy caseload, continue learning from experienced colleagues, and build trusted partnerships with progressive farmers, this is the perfect fit for you. Reach out today to explore this exciting career path. Visa Sponsorship considered.
