Lead Veterinary Surgeon - Independent Practice

The role offers a competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £62,000 per year, depending on experience, and entails a full-time, permanent contract of 40 hours per week over 5 days. You’ll have the opportunity to act as the main clinical vet, seeing the majority of consults, performing routine GP procedures and surgeries, and working sole charge when needed. Your role will also involve supporting the nursing and client care team, guiding the clinical team, and helping to shape the practice's clinical protocols and workflow.

Strong communication skills, a kind and calm approach, and a commitment to maintaining high clinical standards are essential. Previous formal Lead Vet experience is welcome but not necessary; what matters most is your clinical judgement and enthusiasm for leading a growing practice.
