The role offers a flexible rota of 40 hours per week, spread across 4 or 5 days, with no out-of-hours commitments. Part-time arrangements can also be discussed, ensuring the role fits seamlessly into your lifestyle.

This is a well-established first opinion practice with a loyal client base, supported by a friendly, experienced, and collaborative team committed to high-quality patient care. Operating from a purpose-built facility, the practice boasts three dedicated consulting rooms and a fully equipped operating theatre, providing an excellent environment for both routine and complex clinical work. The role offers a varied medical and surgical caseload, allowing you to develop and utilise your skills across a broad range of cases. You will benefit from the support and guidance of experienced colleagues while enjoying the clinical freedom to make decisions in the best interests of your patients. The practice works closely with a nearby hospital that provides its own out-of-hours service, ensuring this position remains focused on first opinion veterinary care without routine out-of-hours commitments.

The ideal candidate will enjoy building strong client relationships, work well within a supportive team, and be keen to continue developing their clinical skills. An interest in mentoring colleagues or progressing into a leadership role is welcomed but not essential. You will be driven by a shared passion for providing the best possible care to animals, confident in your clinical skills, and committed to gaining further confidence in managing various case types.
