The practice is located within a bustling pet store in the heart of town, providing easy access to transport links and free onsite parking. The modern and spacious facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, ultrasonic laser, suction machine, ultrasound, and multi-parameter monitors. Additionally, a qualified physiotherapist is available to support orthopaedic cases, enhancing the comprehensive care provided.

Key duties and responsibilities:
- Confidently handle routine surgical and medical cases
- Build strong relationships with clients, patients, and the wider team
- Take on a supportive role within the practice
- Participate in home visits using the practice van
- Share the bank holiday rota equally, approximately 3-4 times per year

Skills and experience:
- Experienced veterinary surgeon
- Confidence in routine surgical and medical cases
- Interest in orthopaedics (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong interpersonal skills for client and team interactions

The role offers a competitive starting salary of £50,000+, with annual reviews. Enjoy a generous holiday allowance that increases with service, including your birthday off. The practice also offers a £1,500 CPD allowance, paid RCVS/VDS fees, and no sole charge or out-of-hours duties.
