Veterinary Surgeon - Brand New Hospital!

An exciting new practice near Burnley in Lancashire, which is opening soon, offering compassionate and affordable healthcare to pet owners and local rescue organisations. This independent, non-profit practice is seeking committed veterinary surgeons and a clinical lead to join their team and provide full vet cover 24/7.

Key duties and responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of surgeries including spays, neuters, dentals, and lump removals
- Conduct consultations with standard 20-minute slots and 40 minutes for euthanasia
- Participate in the launch and operation of a mobile pet ambulance service
- Provide out-of-hours care, which is expected to be busy due to the practice's competitive pricing
- Work flexible hours, including daytime shifts from 8:00am to 7:00pm, with surgery shifts from 8:00am to 4:00pm/5:00pm and consult shifts from 11:00am to 7:00pm (Monday to Saturday)

Skills and experience:
- Clinical Lead: Extensive experience in veterinary practice, with strong leadership skills
- Veterinary Surgeons: Minimum of 5 years of experience, comfortable with all types of surgery
- Experience with exotics is a bonus
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care
- Flexibility to work preferred days, ensuring all shifts are covered

This role offers a competitive salary, with the Clinical Lead earning £up to £80,000 per annum and Veterinary Surgeons earning up to £60,000 per annum.
