Clinical Director - Run your own brand new practice!

Clinical Director - Cambridgeshire, East of England

Ref: 252Thursday 21 July 2022

£50,000 to £70,000

Join this clinic and their brand new team, right from the start, and be part of something special!

Our client will be opening their doors to their state of the art, purpose-built surgery in Cambridgeshire on early 2023 and they are seeking a small animal Clinical Director to lead the team. This is the perfect role for an experienced vet seeking a bigger challenge or career progression.

The practice is designed to deliver not only the highest clinical standards - but also a pleasant working environment for the whole team. They are based at the heart of this beautiful Market town which is only 50 miles from London but with easy access to the beautiful coastline or Cambridge City,  with excellent road and rail links plus easy access to London's international airports including Heathrow, Luton and Stanstead.

You will be responsible for leading and developing the clinical team and will have full autonomy to run the practice however you decide. You will also be involved in growing the team and will be fully supported by the larger group. There will be a skilled and engaged nursing team in place and you will also gain from the backing of their first-rate, experienced practice support team.

This new practice can offer you the environment, caseload and equipment needed to utilise the skills you’ve gained to date whilst also giving you plenty of opportunity to develop further. The ideal candidate will have good small animal experience.  You will be keen to work towards the same practice vision of providing gold standard pet care to the local community and your patients. As a brand new practice, our client is happy to offer full or part time hours for the right individual, with no OOH required. They welcome vets looking to relocate, either within the UK or from overseas. They can offer both relocation and visa sponsorship packages to make this an easy journey. Previous management experience is not essential as there will be full training and the support structure in place to allow you to develop your leadership skills further. Ideally 3 years experience is preferred as a minimum.

This is a truly exciting opportunity to be part of something from the very first day, which comes with a competitive salary and the generous benefits package you would expect from a major employer in our sector, but with a few added extras!
