Our client is now searching for a new enthusiastic and confident Farm vet to join its large and supportive team.

You will be part of a mixed practice with separate large, small animal and equine departments who have a supportive attitude to their teams’ health and wellbeing, to maximise their job satisfaction whilst protecting their personal life. They pride themselves on delivering excellent care to their patients, clients and staff alike. They are an RCVS practice standards farm practice and a training practice, with a central office, pharmacy and an excellent operating facility. The clinical farm team consists of 7 Vets, 2 Vet Technicians and approved TB Testers. This team are very experienced Veterinary Surgeons with varied interests and advanced qualifications including certificates and DBRs. You will have access to multiple ultrasound units and mobile x-ray facility with an extensive and friendly support team of friendly which includes practice management team and a in house laboratory, with full-time lab technicians.

They can offer either Full time or a part time role with a 1 in 7 OOH rota and a varied caseload which includes largely commercial beef and sheep work with room for growth in dairy and small holders, Vast range of work including, routine, surgical, clinical, fertility/AI work, TB testing and export work – with training available if necessary.

Excellent communicational skills as we provide a high standard of veterinary care and strive to build strong relationships with our clients. Ability to progress clinically and professionally Confident to work both under sole charge, but also part of the wider team. Basic computer/technical skills required and if your ambitious and driven – there is huge opportunity to lead projects within the practice, particularly on the dairy side, client education and TBAS. They can provide clinical freedom of cases, whilst gently guiding towards gold standard care and full clinical support from a friendly and experienced team.

The role requires independent work on-farm, so experience is advantageous, but not essential as the team is available to support the right applicant’s clinical progression. Supported and funded clinical advancement to Diploma level.
