There are not enough Farm Vet roles available in the UK so this is a rare opportunity to join an this department, within a large veterinary group in Wales.
This practice is in a beautiful coastal location which holds a team of 24 vets, 19 RVN's and support staff across their three sites, there is also a further small branch site, one of the these sites is a dedicated farm site. The veterinary group has been serving the local farming community and surrounding areas for over forty years. Over recent years, whilst many practices have moved away from farm animal work, they have shown a dedication to continue to grow and provide an ever increasing variety and quality of service to their clients. They deliver an efficient and well managed 24hour emergency service seven days a week to all their clients, provision of preventative health care for herds and flocks, herd/flock health planning, routine herd fertility work and repro work, tb testing, export health certification and lots more.
The small animal hospital is also 24 hour facility and provides a fantastic service to the local clients and other practices in the area. There is a fantastic culture here with many of the team relocating from around the UK to join the practice, there are regularly team events including paddle boarding, walks, boat trips, dinners out locally and summer BBQ's and parties. Four day week with 1:5 weekends.
There is temporary accommodation available and a company car with a fuel card.
