We are representing a well organized first opinion practice with a varied caseload, who have an experienced, supportive team who aim to provide the best care for our patients and best client experience from phone call to consult. They are now seeking a new graduate veterinary surgeon to join their team.

The practice is based in Greater Manchester which is close to the M6 within easy reach of Manchester Airport, Liverpool and all the shopping you can wish for.  There is also easy access to the beautiful Peak and Lake District if you prefer the great outdoors.

Our team currently consist of full time JVP/vet surgeon (currently enrolled in an ophthalmology certificate), 1 full time Vet (currently enrolled in dermatology certificate), 2 RVNs, 2 SVN’s, a Practice Manager (who works hard to allow you to be a vet) and 2 Receptionists.

Our client prides themselves on creating an environment which allows their team to have clinical freedom, where they can develop their own areas of interests and maintain a supportive, no-blame culture. They welcome new ideas and are continuously updating practice protocols. Fully funded certificates and partnership opportunities are a real possibility for the right candidate.

The bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose-built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including Digital x-ray, ultrasound, blood machines and tonometry. They run 20-minute consults as standard and have a separate cat consulting room. They are RCVS accredited, hold the ISFM silver cat friendly award and are working towards the RWAF accreditation

They are looking for an enthusiastic Newly Graduated Veterinary Surgeon to join the team and also enrol on their graduate programme which runs for two years and includes structured CPD, to allow development, but you will also be supported by their experienced clinically team and the practice owner, to further develop your Veterinary skill set. They are offering a full-time position working 40 hours per week including 1 in 3 weekends, with a starting salary of around £32k per annum.
