Our client is seeking a small animal Veterinary Surgeon with interests in both consulting and surgery. They work in a supportive team environment and encourage and support you to develop your own interests. They encourage clinical freedom, case independence and case continuity with an interesting and varied case load. They have lots of equipment including ultrasound and have an in-house blood machine.  You will work 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days (whichever is your preference), 2 Saturdays in 5 and a share in the in-house patient care. Must be a team player with a compassionate and caring nature.  Midforest Veterinary Practice has been established for over 20 years, we have 2 branches in Totton and Lyndhurst. Their friendly, supportive, experienced team pride themselves on providing the best care for pets and clients alike. Maintaining a good working environment for all staff is of high importance to them, which is proven in their low staff turnover. The vacancy is at our Totton Practice, although you may be required to work at their Lyndhurst Practice from time to time. They have a team of 5 vets and 5 nurses and 3 receptionists at their Totton Practice and have several certificate holders across the Practice. The successful applicant will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Developing client bonds and case continuity is very important in this role. There is clinical freedom to work up your own cases. Full support available for a new graduate and potential to enrol on their graduate scheme later in the year. Benefits would include:
