This amazing opportunity sits within a fantastic RCVS accredited veterinary hospital.

They are seeking a Small Animal veterinary surgeon to join their team of 10 vet team here in the centre of a busy town, with an additional three small branches in the local area. The nursing team consist of 15 day nurses and students VN’s plus support staff.  This a lovely facility with a full range of diagnostic and surgical equipment that you would expect and plans a foot for a CT scanner to be added in their expansion. Vets hold certificates in imaging, surgery, dentistry, ophthalmology and exotics. Their RVN’s are also cert holders in anaesthesia, behaviour and ECC. They have a dedicated night team on site for patient care and case continuity. Separate cat and dog wards, digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, multiple theatres, ligasure electrocautery devices and recovery nurse rolls. Multi parameter monitoring with bair-huggers in every theatre. Any interests will be fully supported and developed further here and they offer a 4 day week over 40 hours, no OOH and a one in six weekend rota (Saturday and Sunday day time) with full TOIL. They expect the weekend rota to become less frequent as they expand the team with 90% of your week based at the hospital so only a very small amount of branch work and no sole charge.  They are part of a larger group and have an excellent package and can meet your salary expectations here.

There could also be a possibility for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join the management team.

Salary package up to £60,000 per annum DOE. All professional memberships paid, 5 days paid CPD leave as a minimum, 33 days holiday per year (6.6), Unlimited CPD budget, buy and sell holidays, shopping benefits, company pension and sick pay and more!
