Are you an experienced OOH’s veterinary surgeon looking for a fulfilling new role? A role that offers the perfect balance between work and home life? If so, look no further!
This role is full time, permanent working 7 nights on and 14 nights off. You hours will be 8pm to 8am Monday to Friday and 6pm to 8am Saturday and Sunday.
You will be joining a friendly and welcoming team, who have a focus on team wellness, organising regular events, team days and case discussions. Overnight there is a Vet, 1 RVN and 1 PCA onsite at all times. You will be supported by the night team during your shift and hand over to the day team every morning. Your duties will include, but are not limited to speaking to clients, seeing any emergency cases that occur on the night and caring for inpatients.
Our client's tier 3, 24/7 hospital in Yorkshire offers high-quality primary care services, including routine consultations, laparoscopic surgery, dentistry, and imaging (x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT, visiting MRI). Referrals are offered to neighbouring practices in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology, exotics and dermatology and there is a rehabilitation centre with physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and laser therapy on site.
The hospital itself is just a short train ride from Leeds city centre, just an hour from York and offers easy access to the incredible Peak District, allowing you plenty of ground to cover and sites to visit during your free time.
