Are you an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a fulfilling role in the newest branch of an established veterinary group, with a varied caseload (including some out of hours) and the added benefit of an experienced team supporting you?
This role is full time, working 38hr weeks, 8.30am – 7pm and 1 in 6 weekends out of hours. Day to day your role will include running nurse clinics, lab work, general patient care, anaesthesia and assisting during surgery, stock management and some reception duties when required. During your weekend out of hours shifts you will be working with an experienced out of hours team to provide inpatient and emergency care for cases that come in that day. These weekends offer a fantastic opportunity to build your skills and confidence in emergency and critical care work, providing firsthand experience working on the spot, as a team and individually solving problems as they occur and assisting the Vet in working up cases in an out of hours environment.
Ideally you will be confident working as part of a small team and independently, be passionate about client and patient care and enthusiastic about helping build up this thriving new branch surgery as well as helping at the main site on occasion.

The group was established over 60years ago and continues to pride itself in providing the community pets with the highest possible level of care. Located in a bustling historic market town, the practice offers access to excellent local amenities, the stunning east coast and Hull city centre.
