Are you a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Nurse seeking a fulfilling role in a warm and welcoming practice? Look no further! 

They are a friendly community practice with a caring ethos, dedicated to providing excellent care to their patients and clients. Their team of 12 includes 3 vets and 4 nurses.

As an RVN in this practice, you will be responsible for various day-to-day duties, including:

Assisting with anaesthetics and theatre care
Hospital care
Preparation room duties
Dispensary tasks
Record keeping
Lab work, including worm egg counts
Reception support


The salary for this role ranges from £27,000 to £30,000, depending on experience, pro-rata for part-time positions. They welcome applications from both full and part-time candidates, as they understand the importance of a flexible work-life balance.

The standard full-time rota consists of 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. However, they are also open to a 40-hour week over 4 days. Part-time applicants should be available for the Saturday rota. No out-of-hours working is required.

They provide paid lunchtimes and a tax-free laundry allowance for every full day worked in practice. Additionally, mileage is paid for attending CPD away from the practice.

To be eligible for this role, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:

Experience in small animal practice
RCVS registered
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well in a team, demonstrating reliability and dedication
A passion for delivering exceptional clinical quality and outstanding client service
Determination to provide the best possible care for the animals and clients
