Our client is a multidisciplinary referral centre based in Hampshire and their multidisciplinary team are providing specialist-led referral services across the South of England. Their services include Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Cardiology, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Physiotherapy and Diagnostic Imaging. Due to continued expansion, they are looking for qualified Nurses to join their Ward and Night Nursing teams.
About the role
The Twilight shifts are predominantly inpatient care including high dependency and assisting with out of hour emergencies. As a Twilight nurse, you will be working alongside an experienced out of hours nursing team who have a passion for the work they do. The case load guarantees you will be able to put your nursing skills into practice and will be used to their full potential in a highly rewarding environment. They give excellent support to all our team members.
The Twilight position includes working a four day week from Monday to Thursday and Friday and Saturday evenings on a rota basis (no more than 1 in 4). Full time hours are 3pm till 1am but there is flexibility here to offer shorter hours and part time candidates can apply.
Experience in referral nursing is preferred, however not essential.
Requirements
Be a qualified RVN with proven experience in a similar role
Have good organisational and communication skills
Work well in a busy environment
Have a proactive ‘can do’ attitude
Be eligible to work in the UK.
Due to the nature of work during the out of hours service, the ideal candidate will have proven experience as an RVN and is confident working with minimal supervision.
They strongly support ongoing training and CPD and as a member of their team you will receive a competitive salary and a benefits package which includes private health care, reimbursement of pet insurance and a company pension scheme.
