This proudly 100% Small Animal independent practice has been providing care to the patients in their local community for over 40 years and now have exciting plans for expansion into a hospital and gain hospital status.
Based in this beautiful market town right on the Thames, just on the border of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, which has a plethora of amazing restaurants, bars, green spaces, festivals and theatres (I can vouch for this as a fantastic place to live and work) Close to the Chiltern Hills for all those outdoor enthusiasts or keen dog walkers, you will also be a 30 minute train journey into London now due to the new Queen Elizabeth line. With great transport links to the rest of the UK and 30 minutes from London Heathrow airport also.
They are now seeking a Veterinary Nurse to join their team of 11 vets and 8 RVN's plus SVN's and support staff. You will be highly valued team member where patient welfare and case continuity are king and allows for better patient outcomes and a happier clinical team. You will be encouraged to work within the full scope of schedule 3 and can be trained in any further areas of interest including suturing and ultrasound scanning. The shifts are a mix of inpatient care, pre-op care and prep for surgery, theatre work, dental shifts and nurse clinics. They provide 24 hour care to their patients to allow all cases to be cared for in house and have a dedicated night team. You will be working to high clinical standard and enjoy being part of a team, motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communicating skills. The rota is 40 hours a week for full time with one in four Saturday or Sunday shifts with TOIL.
They can offer an excellent salary package of up to £35,000 per annum, 6 weeks paid leave which increases with length of service, birthday day off, overtime paid for, bring your dog to work, shift flexibility, £2000 CPD allowance, professional fees paid, Health Insurance, staff discounts, pension scheme, social events and more!
