Veterinary Surgeon - Greater Manchester, North West

Ref: 134Monday 4 July 2022

£40,000 - £55,000

Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking to excel in community-based general practice? Do you want to work for a group that offers the highest standards of care, with the best equipment and access to inhouse referral and ECC specialists?

Do you want to work in one of the UK's most diverse cities, that offers all the culture and cosmopolitan feel of London, but has reasonable living costs and the fresh air and hills of the Peak District on your doorstep?

By joining our client in Greater Manchester you can have it all.

We have roles available in their largest first-opinion practice offering the opportunity for you to grow your own caseload, expand your knowledge and skills and develop in the way that you choose.

You'll be supported by a management team who listen and strive to do their best to create a sustainable and fulfilling working environment. Following team feedback, they have recently moved to a 4-day week and offer roted time off for any full weekends worked (on a 1:6 rota).

You'll be guaranteed one full ops day per week, with a move to 1.5 days as the team grows. The rest of the week will concentrate on consulting duties. Consults are set to 15 minutes, with 30 or more for more those clients that need it.

This isn't a target-driven environment. The practice is situated in an affluent area with clients who continue to return for the gold standard care that is provided. You'll be free to do what you feel is best for your patients and clients all the time, every time.

Benefits include:

  • CPD allowance of £1750
  • additional funding for certificates
  • up to 7 weeks holiday with buy/sell options
  • health insurance
  • paid professional memberships
  • salary of £40,000 - £55,000
