Recently an Award winning Equine Veterinary Practice of the year are now seeking a 100% Equine Vet to join their Practice in the North West, close to Manchester with friendly staff, clients and a team of vets providing high standards of care, they are a non-corporate practice with independent values.

Salary according to experience up to £60,000 per annum plus car plus private medical insurance, accommodation available and sponsorship for overseas candidates if required. Stabling available for your own horse on-site and use of facilities including 60 x 25m outdoor and 40 x 20m indoor as well as gallop track.

The rota includes a 4 day week which provides great time-off for work/life balance, with four day weekend as standard following duty weekend, 1 in 5/6 rota. Further training for CPD/Certificate encouraged, Weekly M & M meetings and regular Journal Clubs. Their surgical facilities including areas for standing surgery with a large, state of the art operating theatre and recovery room as well as trot-up, indoor, outdoor arenas and gallop track for lameness and poor performance investigation.

They provide an extensive support network from senior vets with dual CertAVP in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery with additional support from all staff, including trained counsellor. Convenient for fantastic nightlife in Manchester City (bars, theatre, sport etc), Manchester Airport as well as the beautiful countryside of Saddleworth and Pennines. They are also within striking distance of Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, North Wales and Peak District as well West Lancashire coast.
