They are based in a parish 5 miles from Southampton which is a busy and vibrant port city with lots of restaurants, bars, theatres and museum. Within the village this practice sits in is a family residential area with a strong retail offering and easy access to coastal and rural areas. With its own train station, making getting around easy if you do not drive. Just over 90 minutes to London Gatwick airport and central London by train this is a fantastic place to live and work.
Due to continued growth they are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join their team of 2 Vets, RVN's and support staff. You will enjoy a small animal caseload and have the clinical freedom to treat your patients as you need and can also benefit from working as part of an experienced, supportive and friendly team. They are a well equipped practice with an air-conditioned consulting rooms and theatre. It has separate cats and dog wards and an isolation ward, an ultrasound machine, digital x-ray, dental x-ray and an inhouse lab. To top it all, most of our clients are insured, which will make your life easier and your patients healthier.
They are ideally seeking a full time candidate but can offer more flexible rota for the right candidate. They are closed on Sunday's and there is no OOH and also protected admin time factored into your week so that you can catch up with your clinical work without the need for staying late. A work/life balance is important to the practice owner here.
The package includes a salary of up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience and 5 weeks paid holiday, generous CPD allowance, professional memberships paid, fully funded visas, no OOH, company rewards and discounts and lots more!
