We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to come and join a lovely team in Brislington. The surgery is located on the outskirts of Bristol on the Bath Road, and is easily accessible with a bus stop in front of the surgery and plenty of free parking.
The bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards, and is very well equipped with state of the art equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, blood machines, BP monitors, ECG, Capnography, a surgical suite and dental suite. They are strictly a small animal practice with a fair share of exotics.
The partners, have over 40 years of experience between them, having a keen interest in Orthopaedics. The team also consists of 3 Vets with plenty of experience, 2 Nurses, 2 veterinary nursing assistants, 3 Receptionists and a practice manager. The team is friendly, dynamic, highly motivated and ambitious.
The ideal candidate must enjoy medicine and should be competent with all aspects of consulting and routine surgical procedures. They are a busy practice with lots of interesting cases and provide the time and support to work cases up. You must also be punctual, with good organisational skills and be computer literate. Above all, you must have excellent communication skills and enjoy building relationships with patients, clients and the wider team!
It is a permanent full time role, working 40 hours per week, with weekends on a 1 in 4 rotation, of which you may have sole charge responsibility. There is no OOH with this role.
