Our client is looking for a talented Veterinary Surgeon to join their Small Animal practice in Gloucestershire.
Based in the beautiful cotswold's close to Gloucester, this practice is located in a spa town which gives you the best of both worlds, with have access to the wonderful outdoors and all the amazing restaurants, bars, art galleries, museums, theatres and shops, all on your doorstep. Ideally situated with the cities of Bristol, Bath, Birmingham, Cardiff, all within easy reach, this a great place to access everything the area has to offer. With direct trains to London, you’ll also be just half an hour away from the nearest airport.
Whether you are an experienced vet or a new graduate, keen to further your career in surgery, you can do it here, whilst working with a friendly and supportive team. The team includes a certificate holder in radiology and surgery who enjoys teaching all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery. There’s also a visiting RCVS Specialist Ophthalmologist. This is a full-time position with only 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, with no OOH! Part-time can be considered as well, with 15 to 30 minute appointments or longer for more recent graduates, you will feel supported and not rushed or pressured here. Regular team meetings to offer mutual support and case discussion.
The salary package on offer a starting salary from £38,000 to £65,000 per annum DOE and includes 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, paid RCVS and VDS fees, generous staff discounts, funded CPD, exit fees paid for colleagues wishing to leave a graduate training program early, amongst others benefits. Visa sponsorship for overseas applicants and accommodation is available.
