Veterinary Surgeon - Gloucestershire

Whether you are an experienced veterinary surgeon or have just a couple of years’ experience in practice this role offers support, stability and a varied caseload.  With no 2 days the same, it will continue to keep things fresh and you on your toes in the best possible way. 

Our clients are a small Independent practice who have been trusted by their loyal clients to care for and treat their pets for decades now and they are currently looking for an eager veterinary surgeon to join their team and help continue the tradition of providing exceptional care for many more years to come.  

The role itself is full time, permanent with no out of hours or on call shifts.  Candidates must have at least 2 years’ experience working within practice in the UK, always remain professional and have excellent time management skills.  You should be an organised and proactive worker with fantastic communication skills and ideally work well as part of a team always remaining compassionate and friendly with both team members and clients.

The practice itself is fully equipped with all the normal essentials - ultrasound, x-ray, endoscopy, blood machines, ECG and they host an orthopaedic specialist regularly for their more complex orthopaedic cases, allowing clients to be treated in house with minimal stress.   Located in the heart of Gloucestershire, it really does offer the perfect balance of beauty and rural serenity and fast paced,stimulating town life with Cheltenham just a stones throw away.  With beautiful local pubs, restaurants and shops to explore and enjoy at your leisure as well as stunning walks and outdoor activities.

Benefits:
•    Starting salary £55,000 to £70,000 per annum (DOE)
