Our client’s family owned, independent practice is looking for a dedicated, empathetic and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join their team. The current team consist of a highly qualified group of veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and non-clinical support staff who all share a passion for providing the highest level of care to their patients and clients. They are looking for a positive, compassionate, confident and resilient vet to complete their team.
This role is full time, permanent, with a working week that fits you and the practice needs. You will ideally have a firm understanding of the importance of a ‘diagnostic-first’ approach, have excellent verbal and written English and demonstrate confidence in your clinical abilities while always maintaining a professional relationship with your patients, clients and team. You will be comfortable working both sole charge and as part of the team, taking clinical direction form the Clinical Director/Head Vet and be able to share daily tasks and responsibilities within the clinical team, always remaining flexible.
In taking on this role you will become a key member of the clinical and greater practice team. Your responsibilities will include consultations, preventative care, treating injured and sick patients and actively promoting pet wellbeing every day. As well as performing general surgery, providing inpatient care, including completing a clear and effective handover at the end of each shift and always maintain accurate and up to date notes for each patient. You will also communicate promptly and effectively with clients regarding patient care, treatment plans and payment.
The practice itself boasts a large state of the art, purpose-built surgery, with 8 light and airy consulting rooms and is equipped with the latest technology.
