About Kate

I started my career early, helping my mum and dad with their veterinary practice in Kinross.  Attending countless home visits and emergency calls in the middle of the night from a very early age and absolutely loving it.  From 'helping' on reception to cleaning out kennels and comforting pets coming round from anaesthetic I was always at home in the surgery.  So, it was unsurprising that after spending 4 years gaining an honours degree in Hospitality Management in Glasgow, I eventually found my way back home to Fife and the veterinary world.  Initially working for Inglis Veterinary Centres for almost a decade in many roles including practice manager and latterly working as a coordinator for the IVC Evidensia Graduate Academy programme I reignited my passion for the industry.

When I am not working I live in a small village just north of Edinburgh with my daft Labrador Finn and his 2 chums Quinn and Red and 2 cats Thai and Basil.  I love being out in the country walking the dogs, swimming, baking/cooking and enjoying time with my family and friends.
