Are you a confident Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a warm and welcoming team?This family-oriented practice, located in the heart of the North East, is seeking a dedicated professional to join the team. Conveniently situated for both Sunderland and Newcastle, this role promises a fulfilling career in a supportive environment.

The primary base for this role is in the newly refurbished small animal practice, with one day per week at their other practice, where you will handle sole charge consultations. The practice boasts state-of-the-art facilities including four consultation rooms, two theatres, prep rooms, dental and x-ray suites, and a quiet room. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools such as digital radiography, ultrasonography, dental radiography, and an in-house laboratory, ensuring you have everything you need to provide top-notch care.

The focus is on creating a cosy, family-like atmosphere where both clients and their pets feel comfortable and happy. If you are confident in performing neutering and lumpectomies on cats, dogs, and small furries, and have recently completed your VetGDP, the team of five vets and seven RVNs is ready to support your continued professional development. There are no out-of-hours requirements.

Role specifics include:
- Full-time position with 37.5 hours over four days, between 8.30am and 7pm, with part-time options considered
- 1:4 Saturdays from 9am to 3pm
- No out-of-hours work
- Visa sponsorship considered
- Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £55,000 (Full Time Equivalent), depending on experience
