Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) 

Nestled in charming Southwest London, lies a vibrant GP clinic renowned for its community spirit and picturesque surroundings, this practice offers a unique blend of urban convenience and village charm.

About The Team

Imagine working in a practice where the team feels like family and the clients are genuinely appreciative and largely insured. The clinic is looking for a full-time Senior RVN to join their almost complete team, working alongside a dedicated Senior Vet. Here, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice and maintaining high standards of care.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As the Senior RVN, you will play a pivotal role in the clinic. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the nursing team to provide exceptional care and continually improve standards.
- Assisting the veterinary surgeon during theatre and consultations.
- Ensuring all medical equipment is well-maintained and fully operational.
- Conducting weekly audits of Controlled Drugs.
- Overseeing the reception team to ensure excellent client communication and service.
- Managing the daily operations of the reception area, ensuring efficient handling of clients and their pets.
- Supporting student nurses as a clinical supervisor.

Support and Development

You will receive full support from a dedicated regional manager, with no on-call requirements. Additionally, leadership training is provided to help you transition smoothly into your new senior role.

Working Hours and Benefits

Your 40-hour week can be spread across four days, including a 1:4 branch Saturday and a 1:10 Sunday rotation and one bank holiday a year at the nearby Hospital.
