Our clients are seeking a talented and experienced Veterinary Surgeon/Clinical Director to join their team and lead their clinical operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the clinical direction of the practice, ensuring the delivery of outstanding veterinary care while fostering a positive and supportive working environment for the team.
The role itself is full time permanent and consists of a mix of both clinical and administrative duties. You will be joining a clinical team currently consisting of 15 veterinary surgeons and 25 nurses, student nurses and assistants.
Candidates will ideally be eager to progress in their own career and develop their leadership skills. They must have some previous experience in a veterinary leadership role and demonstrate a clear financial understanding. Candidates should also be confident in their clinical abilities and ability to support and develop the clinical team day to day.
The practice itself is a well-equipped small animal, first opinion practice with multiple branches and was established just under 100 years. The practice is open 24/7 allowing for exception care for their patients and better continuity of care throughout. Located just east of the Birmingham city centre this practice offers great access to public transport, all major motorways and of course Birmingham International Airport which offers flights to destinations all over the world.
