Following an extensive renovation, this practice is on the cusp of transitioning from a general practice to a hospital status, reflecting its commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine and patient care.
Imagine working in a facility equipped with two state-of-the-art theatres, a dedicated dental room featuring digital imaging, a spacious endoscope/ultrasound room, and a large X-ray room. The practice boasts a diverse caseload, ensuring each day brings new challenges and learning opportunities.
They are currently seeking a seasoned small animal veterinary surgeon with a passion for driving clinical standards forward, an enthusiasm for client and patient care and most importantly an individual who works well both as part of a team and sole charge. Candidates should also possess a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a desire to deliver outstanding veterinary care.
The practice is open to supporting either a medical or surgical focus. Flexibility in hours is offered, with up to 40 hours per week available (full or part time) and a 1:4 Saturday rota, complemented by time off in lieu.
The successful candidate will join a robust team of 6 full-time vets, 2 part-time vets, 6 registered veterinary nurses (RVNs) and 6 student veterinary nurses (SVNs), all supported by an experienced reception team. This collaborative environment is designed to foster growth and development, with the practice championing personal advancement and open to discussing future specialisations.
