This modern and proudly Independent, west London practice is now seeking a hard working and enthusiastic RVN to join their small but impressive team as Head Nurse, overseeing and leading their nursing team in their long-term development and working alongside them day to day.
Known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, where pets are treated like family, our clients are committed to providing exceptional care and support to patients and clients in West London and the surrounding areas every day. They have already established a fantastic client base and varied and wide caseload, seeing referral cases as well as first opinion, there will be plenty to interest you no matter your preference or skill level.
This role is full time, permanent with no weekends or out of hours, and a 6pm closing time every evening which offers the perfect work/life balance. In joining the team, you will be an integral part of the practice, working closely with the clinical team of experienced vets and nurses to ensure the comfort and well-being of your patients. With visiting specialists in Ophthalmology, internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry and orthopaedic surgery you can grow your skills and learn more about the caseload in these areas.?
As Head Nurse you will also be responsible for the general admin for the nursing team including nurse rota, holiday management and health and safety compliance. The practice management side of this role consists of supporting management with day-to-day administration and assisting with accounts.
You will be able to work effectively sole charge and part of a team, ideally have leadership experience and a passion for coaching and supporting others in being the best they can be. You will have a genuine enthusiasm for all clinical work and excel in communication and interpersonal skills.
The practice itself is conveniently located in a fantastic location in West London close to Hyde Park, making it easily accessible by public transportation and car. It is also just a stone through from Heathrow Airport and Kings Cross Station allowing easy access to travel further afield.
