Role Overview:

As the Lead Nurse for the Out of Hours team, you will collaborate closely with the Clinical Nursing Manager to uphold and enhance clinical standards. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and managing the Out of Hours nursing team, ensuring high standards of patient care.
- Providing clinical support across the entire practice, balancing approximately 95% clinical duties with 5% administrative tasks.
- Overseeing the induction and ongoing development of new team members, offering feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
- Ensuring effective communication with other Lead Nurses and the Clinical Nursing Manager to support the practice's growth and profitability.

Skills and Experience:

- Registered Veterinary Nurse with experience in nursing and/or leadership.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- A Clinical Coach/Supervisor qualification is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
