Opportunity for veterinary surgeons with interest in imaging and inpatient care who can work just 3 days a week to develop their skills within a multi-disciplinary team or experienced colleagues.
This tier 3 24/7 hospital in West Yorkshire offers high-quality primary care services, including routine consultations, laparoscopic surgery, dentistry, and imaging (x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT, visiting MRI). Referrals are offered to neighbouring practices in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology, exotics and dermatology and there is a rehabilitation centre with physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and laser therapy on site.
Your main responsibilities in this role will be to support the continuity of care for the hospitalised patients, including examinations, care plans and liaising with colleagues across different disciplines when further procedures are needed.
You’ll be supported by a large team across the region, including 6 Vets working towards certificates in Surgery, Imaging, Dermatology, Medicine, ECC and Ophthalmology.
Hours: 3-days per week (7.45 am-8.15 pm) Mon-Fri plus 1 in 4 weekends.
