Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to join a dynamic and supportive team at this small animal training practice?
This purpose-built practice, located in leafy Surrey with excellent transport links to London, boasts state-of-the-art facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound with Doppler, a growing orthopaedic kit, and separate dog and cat wards. With peripatetic orthopaedic and cardiac vets visiting regularly, they are equipped to handle in-depth surgeries and complex cases on site.
Joining the team means becoming part of a fun, hardworking, and dedicated group of professionals. You will work alongside 3 Vets, 3 RVNs, a Practice Manager, 1 SVN, 2 VCAs, and 2 receptionists, all committed to providing exceptional patient and client care. The head nurse is advancing to Practice Manager, and the talented deputy head nurse, who was trained and mentored in practice, will step into the head nurse role. This reflects the continuous growth and success of this practice.
Whether you are a newly qualified RVN eager to kickstart your career or an experienced RVN looking to progress, you will be supported in achieving your career goals. You will play a crucial role in the daily running of the practice, ensuring high standards of care for both patients and clients. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as is a desire to learn about the practice as a business and motivate the team.
This role can be full or part-time, working up to 40 hours per week with only 1 in 4 weekends and no out-of-hours work. Work/life balance is important and shifts that work best for you can be discussed.
In return for your hard work, they offer a competitive salary of up to £34k DOE, no out-of-hours work, a contributory pension scheme, paid memberships (BVNA, RCVS, VDS), 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, a dedicated CPD allowance, and exclusive company discounts and rewards.
If you are passionate about delivering outstanding healthcare and exceptional customer service, I would love to hear from you.
