Our clients are looking for an enthusiastic registered veterinary nurse to join their day team for their busy 24hr first opinion veterinary hospital, based just outside Manchester. In this role you will rotate between consults, pharmacy, theatre, inpatient and emergency care, making it the ideal role for a nurse who loves variety and is keen to improve their knowledge in all areas.
The role itself is full time, permanent. You will be working 40hrs over 4 days - 10hr shifts from 7am to 8pm - with a share of 1 in 5 weekends. Applicants will ideally be passionate about patient care, confident in general nursing practices and keen to learn from the exceptional team currently in place. You will also ideally have an interest in theatre and anaesthesia, however this is not a requirement.
The practice is forward thinking, friendly and the team are keen to welcome their newest member. Within the large, airy, purpose build facilities you will have access to separate dog, cat and rabbit waiting areas complete with children’s play area, dedicated consultation rooms (including quiet room), 3 sterile theatres, a large prep area, separate dog/cat wards, dental suite, radiography suite, isolation and ICU facilities as well as in house laboratory and on site car park for those who drive.
Located just 40 minutes drive or train journey from Manchester city centre, with access to excellent bus links and under 1 hr from both North Wales and Liverpool, what more could anyone ask for!
