Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a dynamic and supportive environment to thrive in? Recently refurbished and expanded, the practice is excited to welcome a new member to the growing team. At the practice, you will be part of a close-knit team comprising 6 vets, 5 RVNs, 3 VCAs, a dedicated reception team, a practice administrator, and a practice manager. Many team members have been with the practice for 6-10 years, reflecting the supportive and stable environment fostered. The practice owner, with 25 years of experience, has significantly expanded the practice since 2012, continually welcoming new faces into the family.

The recent expansion includes 6 consult rooms, 2 operating theatres, a dental suite with dental X-ray, a dedicated imaging room with digital X-ray, ultrasound, and rigid endoscope, and a dedicated pharmacy. The practice caters to a variety of pets, including exotic species, with separate wards and waiting areas for dogs, cats, and exotics, as well as an isolation ward. The commitment to excellence is evident in the facilities and the continuous professional development of the team members.

Seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join during this exciting time. You will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the practice, ensuring high standards of care for the patients and clients. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, along with a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role.

This full-time position offers a balanced work schedule of 40 hours per week with just 1 in 4 weekends and no out-of-hours work, ensuring a great work/life balance. Your duties will include anaesthetic monitoring, inpatient care, nurse consults, radiography and ultrasonography, ordering, and assisting with procedures, including schedule 3 procedures.
