*Calling all recently graduated Registered Veterinary Nurses*
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our client's team in Wales. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to their patients and exceptional service to their owners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with fantastic facilities, contributing to the well-being of animals throughout the community.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting the clinical team in surgical procedures, examinations, and treatments.
• Providing compassionate nursing care to hospitalised patients.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by vet team.
• Performing laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
• Monitoring patients during anaesthesia and recovery.
• Communicating with and educating pet owners on preventive healthcare and post-treatment care during nurse clinics and appointments.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilising and expanding on your Schedule 3 skills inhouse.
Requirements:
• Newly qualified (or qualifying this summer) veterinary nurse (RVN) registered with the RCVS.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners.
• Proficiency in basic veterinary nursing procedures and techniques.
• Willingness and excitement towards continuing your education and further development in practice and through external CPD.
Benefits:
• Annual salary of £26,000 to £31,000 depending on experience
