An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the friendly and supportive team.

This established, independently owned practice in Fife, close to Dunfermline. With recent expansion creating new consultation rooms and theatres, the practice continues to grow while remaining true to its ethos of delivering gold standard patient care and an exceptional client experience.

The Role:

This is a full-time, permanent position based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with shifts of 8am–4pm, 8:30am–4:30pm, or 11am–7pm. There is also a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota (8am–12pm). Importantly, there is no out-of-hours or on-call requirement, ensuring a genuine work-life balance.

The successful candidate will work closely with the veterinary team to deliver high-quality care across a wide and interesting caseload. This role will particularly suit an RVN with an interest in developing their own nursing clinics and a passion for client communication and education.

A qualified RVN with focus, passion, and dedication to patient and client care with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well both in a team and independently. You will have strong clinical reasoning skills and confidence handling a varied caseload and a proactive approach and enthusiasm for personal and professional growth

Responsibilities:

Delivering attentive, high-quality patient care, assisting vets in consultations, surgical procedures, and inpatient care, maintaining accurate records and supporting pet owners with clear treatment guidance, running and developing nurse clinics to enhance patient services, supporting preventive healthcare education and strengthening client relationships
