Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for an enriching role in a supportive and progressive environment? My client, a well-established and RCVS and Cat Friendly accredited practice, are seeking a skilled RVN to join their friendly team in historic Leicestershire.

You will be part of a dynamic team that includes seven Registered Veterinary Nurses, one Student Veterinary Nurse, one Animal Care Assistant, ten Vets, and a large team of Receptionists. The practice has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, boasting state-of-the-art equipment such as two theatres, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, and separate cat and kennel wards.

As an RVN, your role will encompass all aspects of veterinary nursing, including theatre practice, ward nursing, nurse consults, laboratory work, and schedule 3 procedures. The practice encourages special interests and continuous professional development (CPD), with current nurses undertaking certificates in surgery, diagnostic imaging, and emergency and critical care.

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £27,700, depending on experience, and a balanced 37-hour workweek based on a four-day schedule. The Saturday morning rota is a maximum of 1 in 4, currently 1 in 7, depending on nurse numbers.
