Veterinary Nurse - flexible working available

Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and friendly environment? My client is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their welcoming team. This role offers both full-time and part-time positions, with flexible hours ranging from 20 to 40 per week. Saturday shifts are part of a rota, but the practice is open to accommodating specific scheduling needs for the right candidate.

Located in the bustling heart of Merseyside, this practice offers a fantastic work environment equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and ample onsite parking. The practice is an RCVS accredited General Practice, a nurse training practice, and holds ISFM and RWAF accreditations, making it a cat and rabbit-friendly practice at the silver level.

In this role, you will have the chance to fully utilise your nursing skills. Responsibilities include admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, performing schedule 3 procedures, and overseeing patient recovery and discharge. You will also receive support from Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs) and a Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN) in theatre preparation and patient care.

Candidates should have solid general nursing experience in a fast-paced environment. An ideal role for a self starter and hard working individual keen to make their mark. In return for your dedication and expertise, the practice offers a competitive salary of up to £30,000 pro rata.
